Lucknow, April 5: Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav on Friday launched party Manifesto for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Describing the manifesto as a vision document for party leaders and workers, Yadav stated it will be utilised to answer the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

“this manifesto is for every section of the society including farmers and Muslims, he said at the party headquarters.

The former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister also targeted the Narendra Modi government over host of issues including unemployment, farmer suicide and others.

The 16-page vision document having pictures of Akhilesh, his father and SP patron Mulayam Singh Yadav, read – ‘Samajik nyay se Mahaparivartan: Ek Nayi disha, ek nayi Ummeed’ with Ram Manohar Lohia’s quote, “The fight against poverty is a farce till there is discrimination on basis of caste and sex.”

The document, in its last page, carries an appeal – vote for ‘mahaparivartan’.
