BHOPAL, 28 Sept: The news might be shocking but it is indeed true that a fair price shop salesman living in Madhya Pradesh earning Rs 1,200 has turned out to be a crorepati.
The case came in light following Lokayukta raid on his house.
Suresh Prasad Pandey ,a resident of Madhya Pradesh’s Sidhi district has been booked under a disproportionate assets case after officials found properties and gold ornaments worth crores, including a double-barrel gun and four vehicles – a Bolero, an Alto, Activa bike and a Honda Shine motorcycle.
The raids headed by two Lokayukta officials, Surendra Singh and Devesh Pathak, revealed that the salesman owned properties worth over 200 times his total earned salary .
Reportedly, Pandey has eight bank accounts, including those in the name of his wife and son.
