Sadhvi Pragya openly opposes PM Modi, says Owaisi

July 22: All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi said that BJP MP Sadhvi Pragya Thakur has openly challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s much talked slogan by saying that she wants the caste system to be prevalent in India, as she hails from an upper caste.

” How will you create a new India like this? She (Pragya Thakur, BJP MP from Bhopal) also clearly tells that the kind of work the caste has defined, that should continue. It is very unfortunate. Also, she has openly opposed the PM’s program,”Owaisi said while questioning Modi government.

Asaduddin Owaisi lashed out Sadhvi Pragya Thakur over her comment that she was not elected to be an MP to clean toilets, saying, “She is challenging what Prime Minister Narendra Modi is trying to preach and is saying that since she hails from an upper caste, those who clean toilets are not her equals.”

“Not at all surprised, neither I’m shocked by this obnoxious statement; she says this because that is her thought process. The MP believes in the caste & class discrimination happening in India” he said.

Bharatiya Janata Party MP from Bhopal Pragya Singh Thakur has shown her real side as a video has gone viral in which she issuing a controversial statement.

Thakur during an interaction with BJP workers in Sehore on Sunday said, “We were not elected to get your drains cleaned. We were not made to get your toilets cleaned. We will do all the work for which we have been elected.”
