New Delhi, Sep 14: The Bombay High Court today cancelled the anticipatory transit bail plea of the trustees of Ryan International Schools but granted a conditional interim stay on their arrest till 5 p.m. on Friday.
Justice A.S. Gadkari ordered the trustees — Augustine F. Pinto, his wife Grace and their son Ryan to submit their passports with the Mumbai police by 9 p.m. on Thursday, failing which the interim protection would not be given.
On Wednesday, the Police nabbed the gardener of Ryan international school in connection with the murder of 7 years old Pradyuman. According to SIT officer police can arrest some more persons.
On Wednesday SIT hunted the school for more clues. SIT officer said that they don’t want to leave any evidence that could help them to solve the case. Meanwhile, only three days have been left with the investigation agency to submit its report.
The government has assured the family for a clean investigation in the matter but the family does not seem to be satisfied with the SIT as they are demanding a CBI probe.
Besides Harpal Singh the gardener, SIT has questioned 17 persons including a section in charge-Anju Dudeja, suspended acting principal-Neerja Batra, former principal Rakhi Verma, bus driver Saurabh Raghav, bus contractor Harkesh Pradhan and eight security guards.
Pradyuman was found dead in his school toilet on last Friday.
