New Delhi, Jan 30, 2017: The hearing in the defamation case registered against Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi over his alleged remarks against the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) regarding the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi has been adjourned till March 3.
As he came out of court, Rahul said his fight is against those who are trying to wipe out the legacy of Gandhi. “I will keep fighting them,” he said.
Earlier today, Rahul appeared in court and he had tweeted that he would be present in the court for the hearing:

The case against the Congress VP was registered by a RSS functionary, Rajesh Kunte, over his speech in Bhiwandi on March 6, 2014.
During his party’s rally the Congress leader had allegedly then said: “The RSS people had killed Gandhi.”
The court had granted him bail after he appeared before it at the last hearing.
