Patna, May 17: Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav on Thursday announced that he will meet Bihar Governor Satya Pal Malik and parade his MLA’s before the Governor’s office as RJD was the single largest party in the state.

The leader of opposition in the state assembly stated: “we would request the Governor to dissolve the state government and like in Karnataka invite the single largest party, which in Bihar is the RJD”.

Later, speaking to media Yadav stated ” Party has decided that we’ll meet Guv at 1 pm tomorrow and demand that like BJP, the single largest party in Karnataka, was called to form the govt, similarly the current govt here be dissolved and the single largest party, RJD, be invited to form the govt”.

Hitting out at the BJP, the RJD leader said ” Amit Shah has only one formula, horse-trading or sending agencies like CBI & ED behind MLAs of other parties. It’s dictatorship by BJP. If we aren’t united today then it was Bihar yesterday, Karnataka today, can be MP or Rajasthan tomorrow”.

In Bihar, the RJD emerged as the single-largest party with 80 seats in the 243-seat assembly in the 2015 assembly election, but it ended up in the opposition.
