Deepa malik who clinches a silver medal in Rio paralympics arrives at Indira Gandhi International airport in New Delhi late Friday night.
The athlete gets a grand welcome by the well-wishers at the airport.
Earlier on September 12, Deepa, 45, wins a medal at the Paralympics by winning a silver medal in women’s shot put F53 event, with a personal best throw of 4.61 metres.
Deepa also became the first Indian female medallist in the history of the Paralympic Games. India, who made their Paralympic Games debut in 1968, have bagged an overall total of 11 medals including three gold, four silver and an equal number of bronze medals.
