Bhadohi, March 19: Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Tuesday slammed the Yogi Adityanath government saying “Report card, promotions, all of it sounds good but there’s nothing on the ground”.
Speaking to media on completion of 2 years of BJP government in Uttar Pradesh, Vadra said “Report card, promotions, all of it sounds good but there’s nothing on ground, I’m meeting people everyday, all the people are in distress”.
She also attacked the Narendra Modi -led government at Centre stating “What did they do in 70 years?’ an argument also has an expiry date. Now they (BJP) should tell what they have done in their five years when they are in power”.
Yesterday, Priyanka taunted the Prime Minister and said ‘chowkidars’ were meant to protect the rich.
The Congress leader on Monday kicked off party’s Lok Sabha election campaign in Uttar Pradesh with a three-day long Ganga yatra.
On the Second day, Priyanka offered prayers at Sita Samahit Sthal in Bhadohi. Later, she visited Vindhyachal Temple, Kantit Sharif Mazar, Sindhora Ghat and Chunar Pontoon Bridge.
