Renuka Chowdhury to file privilege motion over Kiren Rjiju’s objectionable video

New Delhi, Feb 8: Expressing displeasure over an objectionable video shared by Union Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju, Congress leader Renuka Chowdhury on Thursday said she will file for the privilege motion in Parliament. 

“This is highly objectionable, and I am going to file for the privilege,” the news agency ANI quoted Chowdhury as saying.

Earlier in a day, Rijiju posted another a video with the caption: “Despite such vexatious laugh by Renuka Chaudhary ji PM Narendra Modi ji didn’t get irritated.”

While on Wednesday, the Union Minister of State for Home had shared a video of hysterical laughter by mythological character ‘Surpanakha’ linking Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s comment on Congress leader Renuka Chowdhary in Rajya Sabha.

Rijiju later, clarified that he was “only referring to how PM didn’t get annoyed.”
