March 20, New Delhi: The third Test in Ranchi ends in a draw. The four-match series currently levelled at 1-1.
As expected, the final day of third test match between India and Australia brought in huge excitement with each fall of wicket. However men in blue could not convert advantage to their side as Aussies were batting at 204/6 for second innings.

Earlier in the day:
With 149/4 at Tea, Australia has cut down the trail to mere 3 runs. At the forefront of the rearguard action were Shaun Marsh (38 off 127) and Peter Handscomb (44 off 115) who together stitched an 86-run stand for the fifth wicket.
The tourists still have six wickets in hand and — going into the final session — the match is now likely to end in a stalemate.
Earlier, overnight batsmen Matt Renshaw and Steve Smith started the day in good vein, trying to bat for as long as possible, taking occasional scoring opportunities but no risks whatsoever.
But Sharma and Jadeja struck in the space of four deliveries to send both the batsmen back in the hut and leave the Aussies tottering at 83/4 at lunch.
The visitors were trailing India by 69 runs at lunch and have 6 wickets in hand.

It was a sedate first hour of play where overnight batsmen Matt Renshaw and skipper Steve Smith looked to dig in their bid to save the five-day affair.
But Renshaw (15 off 84) finally fell to Sharma LBW and Smith (21 off 68) too departed, handing Jadeja (3/22) his third wicket of the innings.
At the lunch break, Shaun Marsh (15 not out) and Peter Handscomb (4 not out) were at the crease.
