New Delhi, June 26: NDA’s Presidential candidate and former Bihar governor Ram Nath Kovind will visit Kashmir on June 28 as a part of his ongoing election campaign.
There he will be meeting MPs and MLA’s who are the part of electoral college to seek their votes.
As per the sources, Union ministers M. Venkaiah Naidu and Jitendra Singh, Bharatiya Janata Party General Secretary Ram Madhav, the party in-charge of Jammu and Kashmir will also accompany Kovind.
Yesterday, Kovind visited Lucknow to meet Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
On Friday, NDA’s presidential candidate filed his nomination in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra modi and BJP president Amit Shah.
The election for the new President of India is slated to be held on July 17.
