Lucknow, Nov 15: Spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar on Wednesday met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, a day ahead of his visit to Ram Janmabhoomi, Ayodhya.
The Art of Living founder will visit Ayodhya on November 16 to meet all the stakeholders in a bid to mediate in the long-simmering Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Mosque dispute.

Adityanath and Ravi Shankar held a 30-minute meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence.
Officials told IANS that Ravi Shankar briefed the Chief Minister about his initiative to try thrash out a mutually acceptable formula into the issue.
During is his visit, the spiritual leader is expected to meet the head of the Ram Janma Bhoomi Nyaas, Mahant Nritya Gopal Das at Maniram Chawni, and later hold deliberations with Ram Vilas Vedanti and Iqbal Ansari.
Last month, Shankar called on the Shia Waqf Board Chairman Waseem Rizvi regarding the matter. After the meeting, Rizvi said the entire nation respected the AoL founder and that the Shia community was of the view that the dispute should be resolved amicably and not by confrontation.
