Small businesses still facing the consequences of Demonetisation: Rahul in Jodhpur

Pokhran, Nov 26: Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Monday said that small businesses of Jodhpur still facing the consequences of Demonetisation.

Gandhi in his Jodhpur campaign rally launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying”People have completely lost faith in PM Modi. They have realised that whatever he says is a lie”.

“After winning elections, BJP and PM Modi became arrogant. They believed that there was no need for them to listen to people anymore. This is why BJP will lose the upcoming elections”.

Earlier he vowed to provide free medicines, jobs to youth, farm loan waiver in Rajasthan.

“Loan waiver in 10 days. Our CM will spend 18 hours a day to provide jobs for youth. We will provide bank loan to youth and ask them to provide employment to others”, Gandhi told a public gathering in Pokhran.

“We will open good schools and colleges. Most hospitals are private. We will spend your money in govt hospitals. We will provide free medicines”.

The Congress Chief also attacked PM Modi over false promises. He said “earlier, PM Modi used to talk about 2 crore jobs, fair MSP to farmers and corruption. Nowadays he does not speak a word about any of these promises”.

“PM says India was a sleeping giant before he became Prime Minister. This is an insult to all the Indians who have built this nation”, he added.

Later in a day, Gandhi hit out at the Prime Minister in Jalore saying “PM Modi stole employment opportunities from India’s youth by taking the deal away from HAL and giving it to his friend Anil Ambani”.

Continuing his attack over the Central Bureau of Investigation controversy, the Congress leader “when CBI Director started an inquiry on the Rafale deal, PM Modi removed him from his position at midnight”.

Ahead of his election campaign, Rahul Gandhi offered prayers at the Sufi shrine dedicated to Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti and Brahma Temple.

Rajasthan will vote on December 7 in a single-phase for the 200 member Assembly. The results will be declared on December 11.
