New Delhi, Sep 10 : As the hike in petrol and diesel prices by PM Modi-led BJP government has united the Opposition for a Bharat Bandh, MNS chief Raj Thackeray’s new cartoon shows BJP chief Amit Shah and PM Narendra Modi as goons holding public at ransom.
Through a cartoon, Thackeray attacked Modi led government in the wake of rising petrol prices .
The cartoon shows Prime Minister Narendra Modi holding a petrol dispenser and pointing it like a gun at the scared passengers sitting in the car and demanding ransom as party president Amit Shah looks as his right hand man.
The theme of this cartoon is central to the problem of raging petrol and diesel prices across the country.
“To protest against the skyrocketing prices of petrol and diesel, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena extends its full-fledged support to the Bharat Bandh declared on 10th September 2018,” MNS chief Raj Thackeray had earlier said in a tweet. He also called the price hike a “miscalculation on part of the Central government”.
