November 20: Indian Railways has issued helpline numbers for updates about Indore-Patna express train derailment on Sunday.
At 3.am in the morning, 14 coaches of the train derailed near Pukhrayan, about 100 kms from Kanpur. As much as 96 people are killed and 150 are injured. The toll is expected to rise.
The NDRF teams and over 250 police officials are engaged in the rescue operation. Bodies are still being pulled out from the accident site.

The Railways Ministry has said that the stranded passengers are sent to the Malasa station. The injured passengers are admitted to the Kanpur Dehat hospital.
