Rahul takes jibe on Modi, says he should express his emotions in Parliament

New Delhi, Nov 25: Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Friday asserted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should participate in the debate regarding demonetization in the parliament.

“Sometimes he laughs and sometimes he cries outside the parliament. The Prime Minister should come to the House and participate in the debate,” Gandhi told the media.

He further said that Modi on Thursday was present at Rajya Sabha proceedings but he did not take part in the debate on his move to demonetize Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes.

After demonetization, Modi cried during his speech in Goa and Ghazipur. Rahul said that Modi should come and show his emotions in the parliament too.

Opposition parties are continuously demanding the presence of Prime Minister in the parliament to debate demonetization and for parliament to function properly.
