Gujarat held the first phase of assembly election on Saturday for 89 seats. Both BJP and Congress are in a tough fight in the state and for some obvious reasons, the results will also affect the 2019 Loksabha election.
The voting percentage in the first phase was recorded as 68 percent and the second phase election will be held on 14 December.
