Patna, March 15: Former chief minister and RJD national vice president Rabri Devi hit back at Union minister Giriraj Singh remark over Araria alleging that “all the terrorists in India are sitting in the BJP’s office.”
After witnessing a shocking defeat in a byelection to the Araria Lok Sabha seat, Union minister Giriraj Singh on Thursday warned that it would soon turn into a “hub of terrorists”.
“Araria isn’t only a border area, it isn’t only connected to Nepal and Bengal. An orthodox mentality has been formed after this. This is not only a threat for Bihar, but also for the country. It will become a terror hub,” news agency ANI quoted Singh as saying.
Reacting to this, Rabri stated “All the terrorists in India are sitting in the BJP’s office. The people have given their verdict, and that’s why they are bewildered. The people of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh are showcasing the wat. Control what you say,he should apologise to Araria. Else the people won’t forgive you in upcoming general elections in 2019”.
The RJD’s Sarfaraz Alam defeated the BJP’s Pradip Kumar Singh in the by-polls by over 60,000 votes.
