Patna, Jan 29: Leaders from various regional parties of ‘mahagatbandhan’ (Grand Alliance) and Chief Ministers of Congress-ruled states will attend Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s Jan Akansha’ rally on February 3.
Ahead of the rally, posters have been put across Bihar and in one of the posters in Patna, Rahul Gandhi was seen in Lord Ram avatar.
Furthermore, the poster also had pictures of UPA chief Sonia Gandhi and newly inducted party member Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on one side.
Sonia Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Manmohan Singh, among other Congress leaders, were also featured on the poster.
In a clear jibe at the BJP, the poster, undersigned by Congress leader Vijay Kumar Singh, reads: ‘Ve Ram naam japte rahe, tum bankar Ram jiya re!’
Bihar Congress President Madan Mohan Jha on Tuesday told the media here that leaders of the RJD, HAM and RLSP will attend the rally. He said the CPI, CPI-M and CPI-ML had also been invited to the rally.
RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, the Bihar opposition leader, former Chief Minister and Hindustani Awam Morcha President Jitan Ram Manjhi and RLSP chief and former Union Minister Upendar Kushwaha will attend the rally.
