Rahul Gandhi to address three rallies in poll-bound state Gujarat

Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi will be addressing three Rallies in the poll-bound state of Gujarat on Wednesday.

In his two days visit to Gujarat, Rahul Gandhi will address three rallies in Gir, Junagadh, and Amreli on Wednesday. According to some media reports before his rallies, Rahul may also visit the Somnath temple to kick off campaigning for upcoming elections.

In his earlier visits to Gujarat Rahul Gandhi has slammed the central government over GST and Demonetisation which he stated as anti-people.

Polling for the two-phase elections in the state, which has a total of 182 seats, will take place on 9 and 14 December. The votes for Gujarat Assembly elections will be counted on 18 December. Eighty-nine seats of Saurashtra and south Gujarat region are going to polls in the first phase, while the remaining 93 seats in the central and northern region would vote in the second phase.
