New Delhi, Jan 16: Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday carried out a ‘raodshow’ in his parliamentary constituency Amethi.
During his roadshow, Gandhi held talks with traders regarding challenges being faced by them due to implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST).
He also inaugurated a series of rural roads in Amethi.
Earlier in a day, Gandhi conducted a ‘Janata Darbar’ at the Munshiganj guest house to hear the people’s grievances.
After hearing the pleas of the public, the Congress Chief assured everyone that their problems would be resolved soon.
Gandhi also assured financial assistance to a mother, who pleaded him for the treatment of her son Mohammad Sarwar, who was accompanied by his mother on a wheel-chair.
Rahul on Monday arrived on a two-day visit here, his first after taking over as party chief.
