New Delhi, Dec 19: Congress leader Anand Sharma on Tuesday said party president Rahul Gandhi campaigned with dignity and humbly accepted the Gujarat and Himachal verdict.
Addressing media, Sharma asserted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and entire cabinet was there. BJP campaigned at a scale which was never witnessed before.

Still their voting share went down by 11%, we gained 2/3rd majority in rural Gujarat including Saurashtra, though not much in urban area, he added.
Reacting to the verdict of the high-stakes assembly elections in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, Congress President Rahul Gandhi said he was “satisfied, not disappointed”.
Later in a day, taking to twitter Gandhi thanked people for showing love. He also praised party workers for contesting with immense courage.
“My Congress brothers and sisters, you have made me very proud. You are different than those you fought because you fought anger with dignity. You have demonstrated to everyone that the Congress’s greatest strength is its decency and courage”, Gandhi asserted.
