Rahul cites unemployment as the major issue of UP

Basti, Bahraich February 24: Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi continued his tirade against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a series of election rallies today.

He was scheduled to hold public rallies in Mahasi (Bahraich), Rudhauli (Basti) and Balrampur in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh on Friday.

Citing emplyment as the major problem of the state, Congress VP said in Basti, “Ask a youth in UP, what he does? He would say ‘kuch nahi’ (Nothing). Unemployment is a huge problem in Uttar Pradesh.”

He took a scathing attack on Swachch Bharat Abhiyan of Modi government and said, “Pehle baar dekha, PM aata hai kehta hai Hindustan ganda hai, main ja rha hun Obamaji se milne tumlog jhaadu pakdo, safai karo.”

For the first time I have seen a Prime Minister who comes and say the country is dirty and moves on to a foreign trip to meet Obamaji (former US president) and make everyone else hold broom back home.

In Bahraich he also slammed media for covering such events.

Rahul also slammed demonetisation and said the whole country, especially poor people are suffering because of it. While central government favours the few rich
