Rahul attacks Modi for calling Bengaluru ‘garbage city’, says building lies come naturally to you

New Delhi, May 4: Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Friday hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for calling Bengaluru a ‘garbage city’, saying it’s insulting to call it by that name.

Gandhi said in a tweet ” Dear Prime Minister Narendra Modi for calling Bengaluru a ‘garbage city’ and said it’s insulting to call it by that name. Calling Bengaluru, the garden city and the pride of India a “garbage city” is insulting.

“Building lies comes naturally to you, but you seem to find building cities very difficult. The data nails your lies”, he added.

Gandhi also shared data stating “The Congress-led United Progressive Alliance government approved 1100% more funds for Karnataka’s cities than the Modi government”.
