Pyongyang missile test fails


Seoul, March 22: North Korea fired a test missile on Wednesday morning, but launch failed, South Korea’s Defence Ministry said .

Commander David Benham, a spokesman for U.S. Pacific Command said, “what we assess was a failed North Korean missile launch attempt”.

The test-firing was an apparent show of force toward the ongoing US-South Korea military exercises, codenamed Key Resolve and Foal Eagle.

North Korea test-fired one missile at around 7 a.m. in morning from Wonsan on its eastern coast, Xinhua news agency reported.
