Punjab: Criminal case registered against Kejriwal, 3 others

Arvind Kejriwal

A complaint was registered against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and three senior Aam Aadmi Party leaders in Ludhiana court of judicial magistrate Harpreet Singh for creating “communal tensions” in Punjab and encouraging terrorism to make a comeback in the state.

The claimant Jagdeep Singh Gill from Moga, also an office bearer of an organization called Jagriti Manch Punjab, has filed the complaint on the basis of a poster that surfaced last month before the birth anniversary of controversial Khalistani militant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale.

The complainant has also alleged that with these politically motivated actions of AAP, terrorism can make a comeback in Punjab, and peace and harmony in the state will be destroyed.

The case will be coming up for next hearing on March 19 in the Ludhiana court.
