Chandigarh, March 1: The Border Security Force (BSF) on Friday apprehended a youth from the border belt of Ferozepur in Punjab on suspicion of spying.
The youth, said to be around 21-years-old belongs to Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad, was being questioned by the BSF and other agencies.
A mobile phone has been seized from his possession with Pakistani phone numbers.
According to media reports, the detainee’s social media accounts showed he has links to Islamic groups.
Ferozepur is around 275 km from chandigarh.
