Pune: Two killed in Khadki ordnance factory blast

Pune, June 15, 2017: At least two people killed and two others injured in a blast at the Khadki Ordnance Factory in Maharashtra’s Pune on Thursday morning.

An official of Khadki Police Station said that “The explosion, the cause of which is not yet known, occurred in the Ministry of Defence’s Ordnance Factory Dehu Road (OFDR), in Khadki area of the city, around 9.30 a.m.”.

Two persons, believed to be workers shifting some explosive material, perished in the blast.
