Jammu, Feb 16: Curfew imposed in Jammu and Kashmir was not relaxed on Saturday two days after 40 CRPF troopers lost their lives in the worst-ever attack in Pulwama.
“Curfew was imposed yesterday, no casualties were reported. The situation is under control but as a precautionary measure, we have continued with the curfew” DC Jammu, Ramesh Kumar told media.
“We will decide whether to continue it or not by evening, after assessing the situation”, he added.
Meanwhile, a team of National Investigation Agency (NIA) reached the site of attack for further investigation.
The Mobile Internet suspension, which began on Friday and continued on Saturday, as well.
The authorities imposed Curfew yesterday when miscreants torched and vandalised several vehicles that carried registration numbers belonging to the Kashmir region.
