Patna, Sep 28 : Kamal Kishore Mishra, the prime witness in the 2016 murder case of BJP leader Visheshwar Ojha has allegedly been shot dead by unknown gunmen in Bihar’s Arrah on Friday.The incident happened in Karnamepur in Bhojpur district in Bihar.
Undientified gunmen opened fire at Kamal and other person identified as Amar Nath Mishra was accompanying him. Kamal Kishore was declared dead on the spot while Amar Nath Mishra has been injured and was rushed to the hospital.

Bharatiya Janata Party vice president of Bihar, Visheshwar Ojha was killed by unidentified gunmen in February 2016. According to reports, Visheshwar Ojha, who was BJP candidate from Shahpur in Bihar Assembly polls, was gunned down by unknown gunmen in Ara district of the state. It is said that Ojha was killed following a gang-war between him and a group.
Harendra Singh alias Bhua Singh named accused in Visheshwar Ojha murder case, was arrested by the police in 2016.
Visheshwar Ojha was earlier in Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal (United).
