To prevent hair loss apply the ingredients on your hair mentioned below

* Carrot: Carrots repairs your hair from the roots and also provide strength. Extract carrot juice and keep it in the fridge for 30 minutes. Apply it directly to your hair to avoid hair damage.

* Coconut milk: Like coconut oil, coconut milk is also good for strengthening the hair roots. A coconut milk and honey mask is a good way to regain your hair’s lost strength. Mix coconut and honey together and apply it on damp hair. Massage it into your scalp and leave it on for one hour. Wash it properly with a mild shampoo afterwards to get the best results.

* Onion: Onions reverse the hair loss and open the hair follicles. The thinning of hair, caused due to fungal and bacterial infection can also be avoided. Extract the onion juice and apply it on your hair follicles. Wash it properly after 20 minutes, otherwise the smell of onion might stay.

* Banana: Bananas are a rich in potassium and vitamin A. They are good for hair strengthening and smoothing. A banana and honey hair mask revitalises damaged and weak hair. Mix one mashed banana with one tablespoon honey and apply this mask on your hair roots for 15 to 20 minutes and wash it thoroughly with a mild shampoo.

* Avocado: Avocados are rich in Vitamin B and Vitamin E. They strengthen and moisturise your hair. Mash an avocado and add egg yolk to it. Apply it on your hair and leave it on for 20 minutes and wash it off.

New Delhi, Dec 18: Don’t be paranoid if you see your skin ageing. There are a number of solutions — be it by using natural ingredients like jojoba rich in vitamin E and vitamin C, or by exploring skin resurfacing solutions, suggest experts.

Datinderjeet Singh Tulla, Head of Department of the Dermat, Laser, Hair Transplant and Medical Services category at VLCC and Shubhika Jain, Founder of RAS Luxury Oils, have tips:

* Skin Resurfacing solutions: Skin resurfacing is a skin therapy is nowadays used for various skin corrections ranging from skin brightening, skin lightening, skin hydration, pigment correction, acne and acne scars improvement, reduction in superficial wrinkles and correction of photo damaged skin.

* Healthy diet: Our diet can help make our skin healthier and youthful. Plenty of fresh fruits and green, leafy vegetables are recommended. While vitamin C is responsible for collagen production found in oranges, lemon, broccoli and kale, vitamin A from carrots, antioxidant rich berries must be included in our diet.

Nuts are a good source of vitamin E, healthy fats, selenium, magnesium and other micronutrients.

* Avoid sugar: Food high in sugar accelerates aging of skin and inflammation. The most effective way for clear youthful skin is water which helps flushing out toxins.

* Thermage: Due to ageing process, the facial skin starts drooping down and jowls appear on the face with the laugh lines becoming prominent. “Given that indoors (home or workplace) is where we spend nearly 90 percent of our time, One should take proactive steps to address airborne pollutants and create safer indoor,” added Chabra.
