Pradyuman Murder Case: Bail plea of accused juvenile dismissed by sessions court


New Delhi, Jan 8: The bail plea of a 16-year-old student, accused of killing 7-year-old Pradyuman Thakur at the Ryan International School has been dismissed by a Gurugram sessions court on Monday. 

The juvenile picked at random, is accused of killing Pradyuman Thakur, a class 2 student of the same school, to defer an approaching examination and a parent-teacher meeting.

Pradyuman was found with his throat slit outside the school’s washroom on September 8 last year. In connection with the Gurgaon Police had immediately arrested a school bus conductor.

However, after a month, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which was handed over the case by Haryana government, in a major twist nabbed the Class 11 student, saying the teen has confessed to killing Pradyuman.
