Police take down three criminals in UP


Uttar Pradesh on Thursday witnessed a gunfight between the criminals and the police in Muzaffarnagar.

Three criminals were taken down and killed by the police in a long five-hour gunfight.

The criminals were hiding in a house at Begrajpur village, the police raided the house around midnight and then the gun battle started.

Many weapons and mobile phones were extracted from the site. A family was caught in the crossfire but was rescued safely, an official told.

The three criminals who were killed in the gunfight were identified as Gaurav, Sachin, and Deepak Rathi. Police suspected that the three were planning to perform a major robbery in the area.
