Delhi, Aug 11: The police on Friday raided a shelter home in Ghazipur and arrested three after it was found to be running illegally.
During the inspection, only a woman and her minor daughter were found living in the shelter.

The recent past, several incidents of sexual assault at a shelter home have been reported from different parts of the country.
In Deoria 24 girls were rescued from the shelter on August 5 late night after a 10-year-old girl, told the police that they were being sexually abused.
Later, 19 women were found missing in ‘Swadhar Grah’ home shelter located in Hardoi’s Beniganj area on August 7.
On August 9, at least 26 women were reported missing from two women’s shelter homes run by NGOs in Pratapgarh making it third such incident in Uttar Pradesh.
Earlier in July, 34 minor girls were sexually assaulted in a short-stay girls’ shelter home run by an NGO in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur district.
