PM to inaugurate DGP Conference in Hyderabad Today


New Delhi, 25 Nov: The Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate a three-day Directors-General of Police (DGP) Conference at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy in Hyderabad Today.

Police chiefs from all states and Union territories as well as heads of para-military forces will be present at the conference. They are likely to discuss cross-border terrorism, radicalisation as well as police reforms.

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh along with ministers of state for home Kiren Rijiju and Hansraj Gangaram Ahir will also mark their entry in the conference, organized by the Intelligence Bureau.

PM Modi will also attend the deliberations on November 25 and 26.
