PM Modi’s mother exchanges currency

New Delhi, November 14: Following the footsteps of Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother Heeraben Modi reaches a bank in Gandhinagar (Gujarat) to exchange currency. On November 8, PM Modi announced demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes and made India cashless all of sudden.

Gandhi scion was severely trolled by BJP followers on social media for standing up in the queues with the commoners. Later on, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal was also seen in the bank queue for exchanging cash.

7-8 people were seen escorting Heeraben Modi in the pictures. In the earlier picture, elderly Heeraben who was unable to stand and move was seen holding Rs 500 notes in an old denomination, while in the later pictures she flashed new Rs 2000 notes and 2 bundles of smaller denomination.
