New Delhi, April 30 : In matter related to a complaint concerning alleged violation of Model Code of Conduct in a speech by PM Narendra Modi in Maharashtra’s Wardha, Commission said that no such violation has been noticed.

At a rally in Wardha on April 1, Modi tried to polarise the elections, saying, that the Congress had been forced to contest from places dominated by the minority community, in an indirect reference to Gandhi’s decision to fight from Wayanad.

Modi had said , “The Congress insulted Hindus and People have decided to punish them. Leaders of that party are now fearful of contesting from constituencies dominated by the majority Hindus population and are forced to take refuge in places where the majority is a minority.”

Gandhi is also contesting from the Congress bastion of Amethi in Uttar Pradesh.
