PM Modi’s High Court centenary celebrations program passes go missing

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday is scheduled to visit Bihar so as to close the ongoing Patna High Court centenary celebrations program. Reports are that around 25 passes of the event have gone missing following which the security has been Doubly tightened.

The prime minister, during the day-long event, will also open two newly erected rail-cum-road bridges in Patna and Munger, besides laying the foundation for an additional rail bridge across the Ganga at Mokama, officials said.

The event to mark the Patna High Court centenary includes a 20-minute laser show to detail its history and another documentary film that will trace the court’s journey, along with some old pictures and archival material.

President Pranab Mukherjee had opened the centenary celebrations in April last year.
