PM Modi’s b’day celebrations aim for world records

Sep, 16: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be celebrating his 66th birthday on September 17, in his hometown state ‘Gujarat’, for which all the party members are busy in the preparation to set a record on his birthday.

Surat MLA Harsh Sanghvi has planned to celebrate Modi’s birthday in a different manner in which it will have a special cause. Harsh Sanghvi with the youth of his Constituency has launched a campaign in which he has decided to gather old newspapers from every household and sell them off to collect the amount of RS. 20 to 25 lakhs which will be donated to the Prime Minister Relief Fund.

Ahead of his birthday, not only Surat MLA but the Navsari district is also aiming to set three Guinness World Records at the national level.

The records which are expected to be set are:

  • 17,000 kits will be distributed among the 11,223 differently-abled people. The organiser aims to make a record of maximum number of people in wheelchairs who form an image or a logo
  • Another record includes 1,000 hearing- impaired persons who be provided hearing aids on that day.
  • Not only the distribution will take place but a single location will be lighted simultaneously with an almost 1,500 oil lamps to set another record.
  • A Surat-based bakery with an NGO has decided to prepare tallest pyramid birthday cake for Prime Minister and aim to set another Guinness World Record. The birthday cake is made to honour PM’s efforts for women empowerment with campaigns like ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’

All these events will be monitored by officials from the Guinness World Records.
