New Delhi, Feb 26: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday inaugurated the largest Bhagavad Gita of the world at ISKCON-Glory of India Cultural Centre in the national capital.
The Bhagavad Gita prepared by ISKCON devotees, is 3m tall, has 670 pages and 800kg in weight and is one of the kind in the world.
“Manavta ke dushmano se dharti ko bachane ke liye prabhu ki shakti humare saath hamesha rehti hai. Yahi sandesh hum poori pramaanikta ke saath dusht aatmayon, asuro ko dene ka prayaas kar rahe hain”, the Prime Minsiter said in his address.
PM Modi boarded Delhi metro from Khan Market metro station to reach the temple.
