PM Modi to hold first Cabinet meeting after reshuffle today

New Delhi, Sep 12, 2017: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday is all set to hold the first Cabinet meeting after the major reshuffle on 3 September.

The Cabinet meeting is scheduled for 3.30 pm. The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs meeting is at 3.35 pm and the Council of Ministers meeting at 4.30 pm.

The reshuffle saw Nirmala Sitharaman taking over the defence ministry, and Piyush Goyal assuming charge of the railways ministry. Dharmendra Pradhan was given the additional charge of skills development, while Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi was named the minority affairs minister.
