New Delhi, Sep 22 : After France’s ex-President Francois Hollande revealed that it was Indian government who  proposed Anil Ambani’s Reliance group for Rafale deal, Senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal  slammed Prime Minister  and said that ministers  should stop saving Narendra Modi and now the Prime Minister and his men ‘should reveal the truth’.

“Hollande , then French President , spills the beans.. “We did not have a choice . We took the interlocutor ( The Reliance Group ) who was given to us ..the Indian government..proposed this service group .” Wish Ministers stopped “clowning” around ! Come clean . Tell the truth,” Kapil Sibal tweeted .

The Congress party got a big boost after France’s ex-President Francois Hollande said, “We did not have a say in this… the Indian government proposed this service group and Dassault negotiated with (Anil) Ambani group. We did not have a choice, we took the partner who was given to us.”

“It’s a significant revelation. A website in France disclosed that French President Hollande made a statement that Dassault didn’t choose Mr Ambani’s company and it was GOI which insisted on choosing him as a partner with Dassault. It contradicts what GOI has been saying,”  Congress leader and former Law Minister Kapil Sibal  said.
