Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday met with the chiefs of the Army and Air Force. He also met with the Vice Chief of the Navy in New Delhi.
Officials have informed that the meeting of the PM with the chiefs “routine.”
Army Chief General Dalbir Singh, Vice Chief of Naval staff Admiral Karambir Singh, and Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha took part in the meeting with PM Narendra Modi. The Navy chief Admiral Sunil Lanba couldn’t attend the meeting as he was not in Delhi.
There has been a chain of high-level meetings conducted by the government following the Uri terror attack which left 18 soldiers. The Army Chief has also participated in some of these meetings.
Earlier, Modi has said that those behind the Uri terror attack will not go unpunished.
