PM greets Adityanath, hopes record development in UP

New Delhi, March 19: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday voiced confidence in the “new team” under the stewardship of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and said they will make Uttar Pradesh a “Uttam Pradesh” by doing “record development”.

“Congratulations to Yogi Adityanathji, (Deputy Chief Ministers) Keshav Prasad Mauryaji, Dinesh Sharmaji and all those who took oath. Best wishes for serving UP,” Modi tweeted.

“I have immense confidence that this new team will leave no stone unturned in making UP Uttam Pradesh. There will be record development. Our sole mission and motive is development. When UP develops, India develops,” Modi said.

Prime Minister added said he and his party want to serve Uttar Pradesh’s youth and create opportunities for them.

“With the blessings of people and hard work of our Karyakartas, the BJP has formed governments in four of the five states that went to the polls. Our unwavering efforts to create a Bhavya and Divya Bharat continue. India’s Jan Shakti is powering the rise of a new and transformed India,” he added.

Modi in China: PM holds one-on-one meeting with Xi Jinping

Wuhan, April 27: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Hubei Provincial Museum, kickstarted his two-day informal summit on Friday. 

Both the leaders are currently holding one-on-one meetings which is being dubbed as a first of its kind “informal summit” between the two countries.

According to the media reports, the meeting will take place at 1530 hrs (China time) at the Hubei provincial museum.

The two leaders will head for a one-on-one meeting at the premises. After touring the museum for about an hour, both leaders accompanied by six top officials from each side will hold talks at the sprawling East Lake Guest House.

The meeting comes in the backdrop of the efforts made by both the nations to move past the tensions, which rose out of last year’s 73-day Doklam standoff.

The Indian Prime Minister arrived at picturesque Wuhan city in Central China, at 12:30 a.m. on Friday.

Following this Chinese President Xi will host dinner at the guest house in central Wuhan.
