New Delhi, Oct 5: It was a pleasant morning with cool showers in some areas in the National Capital on Wednesday with the minimum temperature recorded at 24.5 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season’s average.
“It was a partly cloudy sky. Light rains or thunder shower are likely to occur in some areas towards the afternoon or evening,” an official from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The maximum temperature is expected to reach around 35 degree Celsius. The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 84 per cent, the weather office said.
The city received a rainfall of 2 mm on Tuesday.
Tuesday’s maximum temperature recorded at 35.7 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season’s average, while the minimum temperature was settled at 28 degree Celsius, six notches above the season’s average.
