Parrikar meets defence chiefs after Baramulla Fidayeen attack


New Delhi, Oct 3, 2016: In the wake of a terror attack at a Rashtriya Rifle camp in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla, Union Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar met the three Service chiefs on Monday.

Army chief General Dalbir Singh, Air Force chief Marshal Arup Raha and Navy chief Admiral Sunil Lanba met the minister as tension continues between India and Pakistan along the Line of Control and a fresh terror attack took place on Sunday night.

One trooper of the Border Security Force (BSF) was killed and another wounded when fidayeen terrorists opened fire on the camp of counter-insurgency 46 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) in Baramulla.
