New Delhi, Dec 13: The Rajya Sabha Thursday adjourned for the day soon after it resumed on the 17th anniversary of the terror attack on the Parliament house.
Minutes after as the session started, a few members advanced to the Chairman’s podium, holding placards and demanding that their issues be discussed.
Reacting to this, Chairman M. Venkaiah Naidu refused to oblige.
As the agitated leaders continued their protests, Naidu adjourned the House for the day amid the din.
Earlier in a day, the House paid tributes to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives during the terrorist attack on Parliament in 2001.
