New Delhi, July 8 : There was uproar in the Lok Sabha after Congress leader in the Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury accused the BJP of poaching MLAs so as to remove the Congress-JDS coalition government and Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh replies to the accusations that his party is behind the crisis in the coalition government in Karnataka.
“Crisis has nothing to do with BJP. When Rahul Gandhi itself resigned how can we be blamed,” Rajnath said.
Attempt is Being Made to Break Govt, Says Adhir Chowdhury
Leader of Congress in the lower house, Adhir Chowdhury, says that an attempt is being made to break the (Karnataka) government. “They don’t want the opposition government, anywhere. They take our MLAs to Mumbai,” Chowdhury says.
Congress on Monday gave an adjournment notice in Lok Sabha accusing the BJP of “trying to topple” the coalition government in the southern state.
Congress leader in the Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said, ” We’ll try to raise the #Karnataka issue in Parliament but we won’t reveal our weapons. But it is clear that BJP is a ‘poacher’ party.”
