Paris hospital reopens after bomb alert


Paris, Nov 19: One of the biggest public hospitals in Paris has reopened following a  bomb threat forced the hospital authorities to close the facility for three hours.

According to the Paris police department, the bomb squad found nothing suspicious on Friday while searching the premises of the Hopital Europeen Georges Pompidou.

The hospital in Paris was shut down on Friday after an anonymous call was made to Hospital European Georges Pompidou (HEGP) and according to an agreement with the police authorities.

France has been on high alert since the Charlie Hebdo attack in January 2015. The government has been keeping tight security and pressed 10,000 soldiers across the country to ensure the security of citizens.
