New Delhi, July 30: A Haryana court on Monday acquitted six followers of the Dera Sacha Sauda due to lack of evidence in connection with Panchkula violence that ensued after self-proclaimed godman Gurmeet Singh Ram Rahim was found guilty of rape.
The followers- Gyaniram, Sanga Singh, Hoshiyar Singh, Ravi, Tarsem and Ram Kishan were accused of rioting.

According to media reports, more than 200 separate FIRs were lodged into the case as followers of Dera Sacha Sauda went on rampage ahead of their leader’s conviction on August 25.
At least 32 people lost thier lives after the police launched a crackdown on protestors.
